Multi-wallet is here! Now add a minting and holdings wallet on PREMINT
You can now connect a minting wallet and a holdings wallet to PREMINT! FINALLY.
Today, we’re excited to release a feature we’ve been working on for a long time, and we think is going to be a major improvement to security on PREMINT: multiple wallet support.
Up to this point, registering for an access list has only supported a single wallet. So, if for example you need a Bored Ape to qualify for a list, you need to connect your vault to PREMINT, and would be forced to submit your vault wallet address to the mint list. No one wants to mint new NFTs with their vault.
This sucked, and made PREMINT unusable for many people.
But today, we’ve made this a thing of the past. You can now add another wallet to PREMINT and during the registration process, designate one as the holdings wallet, and one as the minting wallet.
Note: This is only available for Collector Pass holders for now, but we’ll release to everyone soon.
Connecting a new wallet
In your PREMINT Collector Profile, you’ll see a new option: Connect New Wallet
Chose whatever wallet you want to add and it’ll be added to your profile. We’d recommend adding a burner minting wallet that’s okay to connect to mint sites (e.g. Metamask) and the wallet you hold your NFTs in (e.g. a PREMINT Ledger).
🚨 DISCONNECT VAULT AFTER CONNECTING: Although connecting your holdings wallet will require a signature, you can (and should) disconnect your holdings wallet from PREMINT right after you connect it. Once you sign, we can verify it’s yours. But you don’t need to keep it connected after that.
Registering for a list with multiple wallets
While registering for a list, you’ll now be given an option to chose which wallet to use.
The rest should work seamlessly. If the project requires an ETH balance, we will check your minting wallet for that, and if the project requires NFT ownership, we will check your holdings wallet for that.

You can watch a full demo here (note: we are only letting you connect two wallets in this early stage)
Full launch coming soon
Although this option is only available for PREMINT Collector Pass holders at first, we will be rolling it out to the entire community soon (targeting June). Security features shouldn’t require NFT ownership. We are just starting with our Collector community to get feedback.
